Grande Guerra (Great War) ski trip with instructor

Off to the assault course! Not to the enemy trenches but to superb ski slopes for the Great War ski trip. The route runs along the foot of mountains with such famous names as Civetta, Pelmo, Tofane, Lagazuoi, Conturines, Settsass, Sassongher, Sella and Marmolada, around the mountain that became the symbol of the First World War on which a great many bloody battles were fought: the Col di Lana
It was on these very mountains that between 1915 and 1917 Kaiserjäger Austrian and German troops fought it out with the Italian Alpine regiment. The runs on this route are stunningly beautiful and ideal for all levels of achievement. The most spectacular are the slopes that go from Lagazuoi to Armentarola and the longest run in the Dolomites: the Belluno run which goes from Punta Rocca and winds down the slopes of the Marmolada as far as Malga Ciapela. An excursion which is increasingly popular with all passionate skiers.
